I remember where I was when it 'dropped' on social media. I was sat in the offices at the Kia Oval eleven years ago, pretending to be working hard.
Suddenly it appeared, the trailer for the new Star Wars franchise. There was a buzz in the air as everybody hit play and a deep booming voice said: “There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?”
That voice has been coming back to me in the last couple of weeks, when I have been commentating on the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
There has been an awakening, and lots of people are feeling it.
