Kira Chathli has spoken of her delight at being named as captain of the England A women's team for an upcoming T20 and 50-over international series against India A later this month and in early July.
Wicketkeeper-batter Chathli has won recognition of her leadership skills very quickly followijng her elevation to the Surrey Women captaincy for this summer's Metro Bank One Day Cup matches.
She will lead England A in three T20s and three 50-over games, having also recently earned selection to the full England Women squad for the first time in her career.
