Josh Blake's four and a half hour 43 not out sees Surrey home in low-scoring thriller

In a slow-burning Kia Oval thriller, Surrey were pulled back from the brink of County Championship defeat to Yorkshire by the heroics of Josh Blake and Matt Fisher.
Blake's unbeaten 43 from No 4, compiled across 183 balls and four and a half hours of sheer determination to be there at the end, anchored a Surrey chase that - at 115 for seven, needing 185 - looked all but spent.
But Fisher then joined him in a partnership of 55 that took 23 tension-filled overs, and gradually batting seemed to get a little easier on a tricky surface as the ball grew older.
When Fisher thick-edged an attempted drive to third slip to go for 33 there were still 15 runs needed.
