Surrey Women enjoyed in 2025 a highly successful first season as a fully professional outfit, winning the Vitality T20 title under Bryony Smith.

Smith is to continue as T20 and Surrey Women's Club captain in 2026 but wicketkeeper-batter Kira Chathli is a new appointment as captain for the 50-over Metro Bank One Day Cup competition.

Chathli has played her county age group cricket for Surrey since the age of nine. During the game's regional structure, Chathli represented the South East Stars whilst continuing to play county cricket for Surrey, having made her senior debut at 14.
