Tom Curran says Wednesday night’s London T20 derby against Middlesex, in front of a Kia Oval full house, will be the perfect time “to put on a show” for Surrey fans.
All-rounder Curran was speaking after Surrey were beaten by Kent Spitfires by eight wickets in one of their most ineffective Vitality Blast performances in recent memory.
Too many batsmen were guilty of getting themselves out, aiming big shots on an Oval surface that demanded a more nuanced and creative approach to scoring runs.
