Sophia Dunkley hit the Hundred jackpot after starring with the bat for victorious Trent Rockets Women. And Gus Atkinson soon followed her in the men's Hundred final to make it a memorable Surrey double.

Two dozen and more Surrey cricketers have been involved in this year’s tournament – 17 of them in the men’s tournament alone – but only Lambeth-born Dunkley and former Surrey Academy graduate Atkinson experienced the thrill of being part of a winning team.

Trent Rockets Women beat Sunrisers Leeds in their Lord’s final and, in the men’s event that followed, fast bowler Atkinson helped Manchester Super Giants to beat Trent Rockets Men despite going wicketless.
