Mark Church was joined by two special guests during Surrey's Rothesay County Championship match against Essex at the Kia Oval, in the second podcast of an exclusive series for The Rey this summer.

Jon Craig, Sky's chief political correspondent and a Surrey member, was at the Beehive pub alongside Iain Rodger to chat to Mark about their love of Surrey cricket.

Both are enthusiastic members of the Peter May Boys supporters' group, who always make themselves heard during Surrey's home matches.

And it was a highly-entertaining session, with Jon even at one stage sending out an invitation to the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, to come along to the Oval to find some solace from his day job.
