I can still remember it so well. There was this kid out in the middle, in a fluorescent green shirt, smashing the Kent bowlers to all parts of Beckenham.
It was 2010 and a good Kent attack with Darren Stevens, Azhar Mahmood and James Tredwell amongst its ranks trying to keep this blond kid quiet. But they can’t as he launches himself to Surrey’s first T20 hundred from just 57 balls.
