Nothing went right for Surrey Women as they went out of the Metro Bank One Day Cup on a day to forget at the Utilita Bowl.
Skipper and wicketkeeper Kira Chathli had to leave the field with injury after just one over of the match, later batting at No 11 for Surrey, and head coach Johann Myburgh said: "It is disappointing, but I'm more disappointed in the way we played today rather than the result.
"In cricket you can sometimes go through your processes and lose a game and sometimes you can be slightly off and lose. Today we were way off the mark in all three departments."
Hampshire Women recovered from the loss of two early wickets - including their captain and leading batter Georgia Adams - to run up a 50-over total of 303 for five.
